Radikal Swim – Open Water Swimming Course

Every year, the Radikal Swim takes place in the waters of Calella de Palafrugell. It takes place on the first Saturday after October 12th. It currently has more than 15 editions.

Different routes and distances for the most daring or the most novice.

The main distance is 7 km and runs from Calella de Palafrugell, Illes Formigues and Llafranc. A complete sporting experience on the high seas.

There is a second option which is half the route. The organisation transports you to the Illes Formigues and you swim to the beach of Llafranc.

The last competition is between Calella de Palafrugell and Llafranc, 2 km.

The days are completed with different activities for the older and younger, with relay races (Radikal Relays), Radikal Kids, among others. In addition to a healthy and sporty atmosphere in the village on Sunday.
